- Our fabrics are sold by the linear yard. We will notify you if we cannot fulfill your order with a continuous piece of fabric.
- The width of fabric varies by type and is listed in the product description. Please remember that most fabrics have an unusable edge (selvage) that reduces the useable width of the fabric.
- Color matching online is difficult. Product photos are taken in a professional light booth with studio lighting. Colors may still appear different depending on the device you are on.
- Orders placed before 1:00PM Centeral Time Zone ship the same business day.
Orders placed after 1:00PM Central Time, during the weekend, holidays, or otherwise outside of our working hours will ship the following business day. If for some reason we cannot accomplish same day shipping, we will notify you as soon as possible.
- Delivery Times
We do all we can to ensure your packages are delivered in a timely manner. We cannot make promises or guarantee how many days it will take for the carrier to deliver your package. What we can do is prep, package, and ship your order efficiently and with attention to detail and give you as many shipping options as possible.

- Shipping Cost
We use live shipping quotes based on the weight and size of the items you order and let you select the best possible shipping option during checkout. You can check the shipping options and cost for the contents of your shopping cart at any time by selecting "Estimate Shipping and Tax" in the Cart View page.
- 30 Days to Make Returns
If you find that you need to return a product within 30 days we will do everything we can to satisfy you. What we can do depends on the reason for the return and the item being returned, as described in the policies below. Please read through these policies carefully. We are sorry, but we cannot accept any returns after 30 days from the purchase date.
- Eligible Products
Any defective product or items that you receive as result of an error that we made are eligible for a full refund or replacement. Notions, fabrics, and notions that are sold by the yard that you purchased but no longer want are also eligible return if the items meet the condition requirements described below. Returned unwanted notions are eligible for a full refund of the original purchase price applied to your original payment method. Returned unwanted fabrics and "by the yard" notions are only eligible for a store credit since they were cut specifically for your order. Also note that sales are final for marked-down items or items that are purchased on sale.
- Product Condition
Unwanted products are returnable if they are unused, unaltered, and in the original undamaged packaging. For an unwanted fabric or "by the yard" notion to be eligible for return, it must not have been modified in any way (i.e. if you order 1.5 yards and use .25 yards, the remaining 1.25 yards is not eligible for return) and it must be unwashed and free of odor. It must be in the same condition in which you received it.
- Shipping Costs
In the case that we make a mistake or ship out a defective item, we will pay shipping cost to return and/or replace the item. You will be responsible for return shipping cost on unwanted items.

Once the return is authorized, depending on the type of return, we will email you a return shipping label and help you schedule pick-up if necessary. Once we receive the product, please give us a few days to process your request and the return will be issued per the policies above.

MadeWhimsy.com receives personal information about our customers directly through various activities on our website. These include: 1) order placement, 2) account creation and management, 3) surveys, 4) email subscriptions, 5) sweepstakes entries, 6) product and services reviews, and 7) product questions and answers.
